○ Cue:-
The cue is the catalyst for the entire process to begin. Controlling the cues we are exposed to is crucial since our behaviors are highly susceptible to our surroundings.
○ Craving:-
The second stage of the habit loop is cravings, which are the driving force behind any habit. Cravings are the desire to do something different in order to receive the reward, such as tasting the delectable cookie or being able to see.
Humans have little or no motive to act unless we have some amount of drive or desire—unless we yearn for a change.
○ Response:-
According to James Clear, a reaction is the actual behavior you engage in, which might be expressed as a thought or an action.
Whatever you need to do or think in order to get the reward, which is the habit loop’s last stage.
○ Reward:-
The emotion at the conclusion of the loop, whether pleasant or bad, is the reward.
It reinforces the action you just engaged in and helps you decide later on whether you want to repeat it.
